Advance Replacement Policy
The following policy applies to persons
requesting advance replacement for returned merchandise.
Any exceptions to this policy
must be in writing on your invoice.

    You authorize GigaParts to obtain an authorization on your credit card for the current sale price of the items being shipped to you. The credit card on which you originally made the purchase will be used unless you specifically request otherwise.

    If the defective items are not returned to us within 10 days, we will charge your credit card for the amount of the authorization obtained when the replacement items were shipped to you.

    You will be issued a Return Authorization number that must be clearly written on the outside of the box or on the shipping label. This Return Authorization is valid for 10 days from the date we ship your replacement. Packages without a Return Authorization or with an expired Return Authorization will be refused and returned to you by the carrier, possibly at your cost depending on the carrier.

    GigaParts is not responsible for the loss or damage of merchandise being returned to us while in transit. Please appropriately insure the parcel and package the items according to the carrier’s regulations. Do not assume that the items were properly packaged when you received them and beware that some carriers prohibit the use of a used outer box and may disallow a claim based on the use of a used box. Parcels with obvious damage will be refused and you will need to file a claim with your carrier. If we accept a package but the items inside were damaged due to deficient packing or damaged while in transit, this will be reported to you and/or the carrier as soon as such damage is found. Warranty for such merchandise is void and you will need to contact your carrier to retrieve the damaged items and file a claim with them.

    If the items you are returning are not found to be defective by GigaParts or the manufacturer, a minimum 15% restocking fee will be charged

    If the condition of the radio is not “like new” a restocking fee will be applied based on the amount and type of damage (i.e., stains, scratches, dents, cigarette smoke).

    If accessories or packaging materials are missing or damaged, you will be charged the replacement cost of the missing or damaged items.

    For radios, the warranty card must be intact and not filled out. Warranty for items with completed warranty cards is handled directly with the manufacturer and does not qualify for this DOA replacement service through GigaParts.

    If the box has a serial number on it, it must match the serial number of the defective radio being returned. If the original product box is missing or damaged, a minimum $35 fee will be charged.
