Computer Warranty & Returns
The following policy applies to part numbers NOT beginning in "Z"
Any exceptions to this policy must be in writing on your invoice.

For purchases made between 3/1/02 and 4/21/02

Monitors, hard drives, scanners, and printers have a 30 day DOA replacement warranty. The remainder of the warranty, if any (varies by product), is through the manufacturer.

CPU's, fans, and cables carry a 30 day warranty against manufacturing defects. Clocking or powering a CPU other than at the manufacturer's specifications voids all warranties. Bent pins, overheating damage, and other physical damage to CPU's is NOT covered under our warranty or the manufacturer's warranty.

All software, media, and special order purchases are final and may not be returned.

All other items carry a 1 year warranty against manufacturer defects unless a different warranty is specifically stated on your invoice.

Memory and CPU's returned are subject to a mandatory testing fee of $15 EACH in addition to market price adustments and restocking fees.

All merchandise found NOT to have factory defects WILL be charge a MINIMUM 15% restocking fee. All returns for refund or exchange are subject to price adjusmtents for current market price, and a testing fee. Products must be returned in ORIGINAL packaging with no additional markings on the packaging or product and in resalable condition.

All returns must be shipped prepaid UPS, insured for the full value of the product.

Returns for refund or exchange are subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee but must be done within 7 days. If your order was shipped, refunds for orders shipped with free freight will be charged the shipping costs. Refusal of shipments may be subject to additional charges and refunds and exchanges for these items will not be processed until the shipment has returned to our dock.

If you receive your order and it appears to have been damaged in shipping, please notify the delivery driver at that time and file a claim through the shipping company. If you need assistance with filing a claim, please contact our sales department.

To obtain a Returned Merchandise Authorization Number ("RMA number"), please call or email our sales department. Your shipment must contain the RMA number, clearly marked, on the outside of the box or it will be refused.

Warranty issues for international orders should be resolved directly with the manufacturer.

Equipment sold on consignment is not the property of GigaParts and we offer no warranty and make no claims as to the condition of the equipment. Consignment equipment is sold with a 7-day evaluation period (from ship date) and may be returned only if it has a major defect that was not noted at the time of sale.
