IC-PCR2500/IC-R2500 receivers have two receiver circuits for diversity tuning and dual receive. In addition to the two separate receivers, the 2500 series introduces two new internal modules. The UT-122 P25 digital voice decoder, UT-106 AF DSP unit and UT-108 DTMF decoder or UT-118 D-Star digital voice decoder(UT-108 and UT-118 are exclusive).
- Diversity Tuning: When two antennas are connected, the receiver selects the antenna with the best signal strength for stable signal reception. Great function for mobile operations.
- Simultaneous Dual Receive: IC-PCR2500/R2500 has two independent receiver circuits inside.
