problem with center pin

For some reason after long use, the center pin in the base lost its tension. Going to replace it with the same antenna. Good antenna just puzzled on why the pin lost tension.

I put this antenna on my Jeep Wrangler to pair with a Yaesu FTM-300DR. I mounted it on a NMO mount on my driver's side hood near the windshield. I was amazed that I am getting 1.02 SWR readings on 2m and under 1.1 on 70cm. Great antenna and the fold over feature is great for tight spaces on a lifted vehicle.

magnet mount. It gets out good, receives well and can handle 75 watts no problem. I love the bend over part of it too, that is why I bought them and I don't regret it. Would I buy it again, Maybe. I think my next mount might be more of a whip type antenna since I no longer have to deal with low ceilings but if I did, I wouldn't hesitate.
