If you are securing a push-up poll this is a great option. My top piece is one and a quarter inches and this specific one was just a little too big tightened all the way down to be hard and fast but it did work very well. I would recommend the hardware pack for the appropriate size line you buy and the aerocleats to tension it. You can use a cheap thread together shackle from the hardware store in between the Mast clamp and the hardware on the end of the line. Wonderful setup. Mine is 38 ft to the bottom of the antenna and is already been in a 35 mph wind with one set of guidelines at the base of the antenna and it didn't move. The Mast doesn't shake and the lines do not get resonant and start to Flap around. It's a Wonderful setup
