Ok for QRP or under 3:1 SWR up to 60 watts

Open it up and do a check found clippings also looked like welding flash stuck to bottom the wire between capacitors was short instead of just turning capacitor they spun the spring contact which might have caused ti to be lose and erratic. MFJ was very helpful and sent a replacement so I could fix it a lot quicker then sending it back for repairs put the old lose one on display at a local school radio club we have a lot of new hams from them.
