The official Active Cooler is worth every penny. It's quieter, more effective, and inspires much more confidence than the basic case fans I've used in the past. Simple install, excellent cooling, and genuine Raspberry Pi quality. I'd take a properly designed active cooler over a passive heatsink any day, especially on a Raspberry Pi 5. If you're running a Pi 5, this should be on your shortlist.

Use it for my HAM CLOCK RasPi 5. Works as good as the other fan I had on it. Needed to add it because the other fan wasn't compatible with the NvMe Hat I have now.
