Kenwood 13 pin DIN - Fixed Level Audio/FSK Cable
This cable is for Kenwood radios that have a rear panel 13 pin DIN connector (See List Below) for Fixed Level Audio output and FSK input. The mini-plug labeled "FSK" connects to the "Key Out" connector of the
RIGblaster Plus II or "FSK Out"(R6) on a RIGblaster pro for direct FSK keying of your Kenwood radio from programs that support direct FSK keying such as Hamscope, MMTTY, MixW, etc.. The un-labeled mini-plug provides fixed level audio from the 13 pin FSK DIN connector to the Sound Card Line In or "Audio In"(R11) on a
RIGblaster Pro or "AUDIO OUT" on a
RIGblaster Advantage for reception of all digital modes.
Use the Fixed Level Audio part of this cable on these Kenwood Radios: TS-140/440/450/680/
690/570/711/790/811/870/940/2000.
Check your Kenwood Radio Owners Manual to see that pin 2 of ACC2 is labeled "RTTY Terminal", "FSK input", or "RTTY Key Input" before selecting this cable for FSK.
*Important Note*: If you do not have a
RIGblaster Plus II,
Plus,
Pro, or a
RIGblaster Advantage (or your radio does not have a 13 pin DIN rear panel FSK input), do not order this cable.
