Intellitron LA-97 Replacement Gas Discharge Tube, 400W

Intellitron LA-97 Replacement Gas Discharge Tube - “Expertly Built, Economically Priced”

Keep your valuable ham radio gear protected with the genuine Intellitron LA-97 Replacement Gas Discharge Tube. This critical component is specifically engineered to restore the peak surge protection capability of your Intellitron LA-1101 400W Lightning Arrestor. Lightning-induced surges and static discharges are an unavoidable reality for amateur radio operators, and a compromised Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) leaves your sensitive transceivers and accessories vulnerable. Don't risk costly damage; ensure your system is fully protected with a direct-fit, high-performance replacement tube.

The Intellitron LA-97 is the exact component your LA-1101 arrestor needs after a major surge event has caused the original tube to fail. GDTs function by instantaneously creating a short circuit path to ground when the voltage exceeds a safe threshold, diverting massive transient energy away from your radio equipment. While these tubes are designed for multiple strikes, a significant electrical event can sometimes cause a permanent increase in the tube's breakdown voltage or even an open-state failure, effectively neutralizing your protection. Replacing the tube is a simple, cost-effective maintenance task that guarantees your lightning arrestor is operating at its maximum design specifications, offering you peace of mind during adverse weather.
