Our people are our greatest asset and, of all our great people, Brandon Fielding is one of the greatest! Join us in celebrating the last 20 years of Brandon’s hard work, dedication, commitment to our customers.

On June 18, 2001, Brandon joined our retail sales staff with an interest in a career in Information Technology, and it wasn’t long before he became active in amateur radio and earned his general class license with the call sign KG4OOL. Within a year, he took on additional responsibilities in our warehouse as our e-commerce business began to take off. In 2004 he was promoted to Store Manager where, month after month, year after year, he was recognized for “most hours worked.” By 2009, Brandon was officially promoted to Operations Manager, though he had already been the primary software developer for website for several years as well as responsible for integrating and maintaining all of our business software platforms into a single, constantly evolving system. Our website is now managed by a whole team of developers, but Brandon is still heavily involved in the process by ensuring it interacts seamlessly and reliably with all of our other systems.

Though a couple of other employees now give him a run for his money on “most hours worked,” Brandon comes in early and stays late nearly every day, not to mention all of the server updates that often run into the wee hours of the morning. In his early days at GigaParts, Brandon had the furthest commute of any employee, yet the best record for arriving to work on time. He set the bar high and many have aspired to perform at his level and follow in his footsteps.

Today, we’re pulling the curtain back a little here at GigaParts to show off one of the crew at GigaParts responsible for so much of the behind-the-scenes magic that keep hundreds of thousands of customers coming back and we hope you join us in celebrating Brandon’s contribution and accomplishment the weekend of June 18th, officially known as “Brandon Day.”
