When the unit arrived, the first thing I noticed was it was wobbly on the desktop. The screw that holds on one of the rear feet was stripped. Not a big deal, it's just going to sit on the desktop, I can live with it. I then connected it to the radio, keyed the mic, and the needles don't move. I checked my coax, the jumper coax, and the connectors individually with my ohm meter and found no issues. Then I checked the meter itself. On the HF Side the SO-239 connections were shorted between where the center conductor and the threads (VHF/UHF side was good). I was on the phone with Gigaparts within 20 minutes of it arriving at my door. To add to my frustration, Gigaparts does not send you out an immediate replacement. You have to send it back, once they receive it, they process your replacement. So hopefully I'll have a functioning unit within 2 weeks of when I first ordered it. Probably won't be using Gigaparts for anymore equipment purchases.
