"It features over-voltage and over-current protection systems and has a quiet internal cooling fan with “fan on” LED."... The fan in my 4128 is loud enough that it is very noticeable in my Phone transmissions. It is four to five feet away from the mic. I bought it new late last summer along with a new Yaesu xcvr. I am going to start powering the Yaesu with an older non switching power supply that has no blower in it. I am 99 percent CW, so I haven't used it on SSB until last night. The guy told me right away about it.
