P04Power 12V 50Ah LifeP04 Battery

I picked one of these up at the Orlando Hamfest. My first test was using it to do POTA activations. Was was able to do 4 different activation off one charge. I got just a little over 12hours @ 100W SSB/FT8 on my FT-891. So for the last six months it has been my work horse for POTA.

I purchased this battery at the Dayton hamfest last May. I use it mostly for mobile operations, powering my transmitter and controller (rather than using the vehicle power). I must say, it is a workhorse!

When I bought it, I figured I would need to charge it after a day of use...but that turned out to be not needed. I routinely get 2-3 days of use (that's about the length of my travels) and usually never get below about 60% charge. I just returned from a 2 day, qso party trip where I was on the radio for at least 10 hours/day...transmitting 95 watts. I also powered my screwdriver antenna with the battery. When I took it out of the car this morning, the battery still had an 85% charge. I've never had a problem with the voltage dropping below range, even on lower charge. Certainly meets my needs, and more!

And also, I want to say how impressed I was with the Gigaparts staff at the hamfest, they answered all my questions and even talked me down from buying a more expensive, quick charger for this battery.....telling me for my use, it wasn't necessary.

I have been using this battery for about two weeks now. It works way better than my high dollar USA LifeP04. I going dump them and buy more of these! As the other other battery voltage drops way to fast these just seem to be better voltage drop overtime.
