I'm using this mic on my FTDX 3000. I also had received excellent reports on the quality of my voice. Also, I use the FTDX 3000's (moni.) button to listen and tune the radio TX equalizer section.

I put this mic on my FTDX1200. I switched the low cut to position 2 - on the mic. I have gotten excellent reports on my transmission audio. On 80M, I listened to a conversation where a ham switched to his MD-100 mic on his 991A and it sounded great!
