These are specialized, very high-gain antennas for the 2M  and non-USA 70 cm bands.

The Comet GP-9B antennas are not made for use on USA repeater frequencies.

They are the correct choice for nations where the 70 cm repeaters operate in the lowest section of the band between 430 to 440 MHz.
