Arrow antennas are hand held directional Yagi antennas made in America and a great accessory for the ham that wants a very directional, focused propagation of his transceiver radio so he/she can work LEO (low earth orbit) satellites and distant repeaters. The antenna’s direction is modified by a reflector (the largest element, located at the “back” of the antenna) and then several reflectors, or directors, set in parallel help to focus the propagation of the antenna. The more reflectors the Yagi has, the greater the gain.
