Great mobile antenna.

I love this antenna! I consistently get positive signal reports and I'm really able to reach out and touch some of the more distant repeaters from my house. Almost a perfect 1:1 swr, 1.01:1 to be exact, on 2m. If memory serves me right I think 70cm was just as good. I would absolutely buy this again if needed.

For 2m/70cm, I can't imagine why this antenna would ever receive a negative review. I am hitting repeaters up to 70 miles away with great reports of clarity. Will purchase for other vehicles.

Good antenna for out of band

Not long enough to be peaked for 146mhz its centered around 155mhz needs to be lengthened. possibly can use the spring assy to correct the antennas match. the gain advertised is not measured on amateur bands in my experience. Will it work yes, will it work well, NO.
