This antenna was used outdoors for 20 years and in the attic for the past 5 years. It still works great for it's small size. Just buy one and enjoy it for years!

I live in an antenna-restricted area. As such, my GP-1 is mounted in the attic. Even with this antenna location, I am able to consistently work a 2m repeater that is over 50-miles away, full quieting, using just 25W transmit power. Excellent performance on both VHF/UHF. Highly recommend.

Good basic 2m/70cm antenna

I live in a large metro area and this works very will hitting repeaters 30 miles out. There are a ton in my area so I haven't even tried hitting repeaters further out. Mine is mounted about 16' off the ground.
