Sturdy, Easy, Portable!

I was beyond impressed with this mast. It is portable enough to move around, I have even used it with a receiver hitch mount on my truck. I suppose you could use it semi-permanently. 45 feet is well high enough to get any antenna in position, and this mast is seriously sturdy! I don't know if it could support a rotor, but it certainly can handle a light beam (you can rotate the mast by hand). I mostly use it with a multi band dipole (KB9VBR or G5RV). It is a bit long so I use a step stool to raise it (Or stand in the bed of the truck in the field), and use 2 sets of guys, but could probably get away with one set. Only thing I changed, it is painted red for the last 6 inches of each section. You must keep that much inside the next section for stability. I added a red ring 6 inches and 3 inches above that, to warn me before I accidentally pull the section all the way out. Otherwise I love this mast!

Thought it would be hard to raise the 53 feet mast. So easy. Love the adjustable clamp tension. Set it and your good. The red warning paint is very helpful. Highly recommend .

Living in a HOA. I was looking for a quick up and down solution. I have been able to clamp the lower mast section to a sattalite mount and raise and lower in minutes. Very happy with this. This works great to get my 8ft comet, up to 30ft give or take.
