Now that the snow has melted in NNY I had the opportunity to put this thing up. I didn’t need the full 53’, I wanted to leave more than the recommended amount of pole length inside the previous pole by one foot. I purchased the guy rings with it. This thing is absolutely bomb proof! This will be erected 2-3 times a month at my camp. I am using 4 guy points with 3 lines each. It’s not a POTA mast and takes a little time to get it up but I consider this the best deal on the market.

TOTALLY AWESOME 53' TELESCOPING FIBERGLASS MAST

YOU DONT REALIZE HOW TALL 53' UNTIL YOU RAISE THE MAST. i LIVE ON A GOLF GOURSE AND THIS MAST IS BASICALLY INVISIBLE. USING A G5RV DIPOLE AND DARK GREEN NYLON SHOT LINE FOR GUIDE WIRES. IF YOU DONT KNOW ITS THERE IT IS INVISIBLE. WHEN I AM DRIVING BY THE HOUSE OR PULLING IN AND OUT OF THE DRIVE WAY i LOOK AND HAVE A HARD TIME SEEING THE MAST AND i INSTALLED IT. THE FEED LINE TO THE G5RV DIPOLE IS A DARK BROWN AND THAT IS THE ONLY VISIBLE THING. THE MAST SLIDES UP AND DOWN WITH EASE. SO EASY, EVEN THE VERY LAST STAGE GOING UP. GREAT PRODUCT. KEEP IT WAXED WITH CARNUBA WAX SO THE SUN DOES NOT START WEATHING THE FIBERGLASS. sHOULD LAST A LONG TIME AND UNDER 300 DOLLARS ITS WORTH IT.

I was worried it would be difficult to raise the final stages but it is easy. The supplied clamps are easy to adjust and use. Easy to raise and lower. Wish I had bought a long time ago. Living in an hoa this mast is hard to see. Even at 53 feet it towers over my house. Highly recommend
