Designed for effective coverage, the U7 Lite can cover an area of 115 m² (1,250 ft²) and support over 200 clients, providing reliable connectivity for numerous devices. It features a robust 2.5 GbE uplink, ensuring ample backhaul for high-speed wireless traffic.
Advanced radio management features include Wireless Meshing, Band Steering, 802.11v BSS Transition Management, 802.11r Fast Roaming, and 82.11k Radio Resource Management (RRM), optimizing client connectivity and network efficiency. For guest access, the U7 Lite supports Passpoint (Hotspot 2.0) and a comprehensive Captive Hotspot Portal with custom branding, voucher, payment, and password authentication options. Enhanced security features like Guest Network Isolation, Private Pre-Shared Key (PPSK), WiFi Speed Limiting, Client Device Isolation, WiFi Schedules, RADIUS over TLS (RadSec), and Dynamic RADIUS-assigned VLAN provide granular control over your network.
The U7 Lite is built for versatile installation, supporting both ceiling and wall mounting with a Lite Mount included. It is powered by PoE, with a maximum power consumption of 13W. Its durable UV-stabilized polycarbonate enclosure and mount ensure reliability in an ambient operating temperature range of -30 to 40° C (-22 to 104° F). This device is NDAA Compliant and holds certifications from CE, FCC, IC, and Anatel. Management requires UniFi Network version 9.0.114 or later, and mobile app versions iOS 10.20.2+ or Android 10.21.7+.
