I bought this because I simply do not have tall trees or a large lot. While I don't have to worry about an HOA, I still cannot go too big or too many (dipoles) when I live in a hurricane prone area of Florida. This was my answer!
At only 24 pounds, I can easily lower the antenna to the roof line when bad weather hits, or leave it up at the 27 foot mark as it is today. Either way, it does work well on all the bands!
With it up at 27', I have been able to reach the NE (NY, NJ), the midwest (NE and MO) and even Puerto Rico with only 100W!
Set up was pretty easy and it took me about three hours in total to get it assembled (with the HK34 30 and 40M add on for eight bands in total) and another two to get it resonant in the middle of each band.
In short, I love it and have recommended it to several friends already!
