Dashboard Radio Mount - Works With CB, Ham, GMRS Radios, Scanners and More
This dashboard radio mount is a great option for a wide range of vehicles. It adheres to the dash with strong 3M double-sided tape (3M™ VHB™ Tape 5952). The base of the mount is flexible so it contours to your dash. All you need is a relatively flat space that can fit the 7 5/8" x 5 3/4" base.
Features
- This mount comes in two pieces: The base and the radio mounting plate. The plate can be removed from the base via the quick release mechanism.
- When installed on the base, the plate is held in place with a carriage bolt, wing nut and washer, which can be taken out by hand for tool-less installation and removal.
- The plate can also be rotated on the base in 30° increments for greater flexibility in how the radio is positioned.
- The base will come with 5 strips of double-sided tape adhered on the bottom along the edge and through the center. You will just need to peel the backing and stick it to your dashboard.
- Hardware to attach your radio bracket to the mount is included.
- This is a printed part made of ABS.
Installation Tip
To get long-lasting adhesion from the double-sided tape, it is important to clean the dashboard before attaching the radio mount. An isopropyl alcohol wipe is provided for this purpose. Applying the mount on a warmer day or in a heated garage will also ensure proper adhesion.
