This is my second CSB-750A -- I gifted the first one to a new Technician because, roof-mounted, it's a little too tall for my covered parking space. But I'll soon be taking another road trip, which was the reason I bought the first one. I want the greatest receive range possible on the road, and this antenna "hears" much farther than the shorter one I usually use around home. (I can always switch back to the shorter one at my destination, if necessary.)

Haven't had a chance to try it out yet. Putting it together was a pain. Apparently they use some type of gunk between the antenna rods and the coils. One section wasn't properly inserted and fell out during shipment. Then the gunk dried and the rod wouldn't fit back in. Had to drill out the stuff before I could fit the pieces together. And Comet doesn't send an allen wrench with the package. Fortunately, Diamond does and it was the same size. Maybe the antenna has good performance, but it is not off to a good start.
