Very good transmit and receive capability

My antenna is installed on the rear lift gate of my Ford Explorer. Not the best place to make use of the vehicle’s ground layout. So, I decided to give this antenna a try. No ground plane required. Well, it works great. I don’t have any scientific measures, but transmission and reception feedback have been very positive. Plus, the fold over capability is a must for entering low overhead areas.
