Compact High Performance SCANNER RADIO Antenna (100 - 1500 MHz)

Optimized for 3 Wide Frequency Bands:

1.) VHF 136 - 174 MHz

2.) UHF 378 - 512 MHz

3.) 750 - 960 MHz Digital & Analog - Optimized for Public Service-Safety/Govt Frequency Bands Police, Fire, Sheriff, Emergency Medical, State Highway Patrol, Homeland Security, U.S. Federal, Military

Also superb for Transmit/Receive on MURS (151-155 MHz) and GMRS (462-467 MHz)

as well as Ham Radio 2 Meter/440 MHz Bands

[(V)SWR: nominal <2:1 136-174MHz; 378-512MHz; 750-960MHz]

Antenna is constructed in a fashion that will allow 100 W at VHF, 75 W at higher frequencies

[Maximum Duty Cycle at max. power rating: Maximum total transmit time of 1 minute in any 2 minute period.

Maximum Ambient temperature rating 110 degrees Fahrenheit.

Hotter conditions such as higher ambient temperature, sun exposure, lesser air flow, etc. decrease duty cycle.]

Best transmit SWR results are seen with antenna mounted at one of the corners of the vehicle roof/hood/lid/fender.

Performance/pattern is substantially omnidirectional when mounted at a corner.

As a receiving antenna, model SCAN-III performs excellently at non-corners such as roof center as well at corners.

Antenna Type: Unique Electric/Magnetic Field Diversity Science & Technology Patented Design Patent No. US 9,407,001

With a special design construct of spiraled and cylindrical metal sheeting including ‘extended flat monofilar spiral Tesla-like coils’,

all resistance, inductance and capacitance (matching) is efficiently done by the physical metallic geometric form of the antenna itself,

as opposed to internal or external (lossy) components of other designs.

“Magnetic Field Resonator”: This built-in resonating matching system is an effectual component of the electromagnetic field production,

resulting in better performance than expected for such a small antenna.

And resulting diverse effective electromagnetic fields further enhance performance in our world of (dynamic) obstructions,

mitigating signal drops, reducing flutter, and increasing reliable range.

Reliable leaf spring style NMO connector on antenna for standard center-stud style NMO mounts

Gain: Nominal 3(+) dBi

[Due to properties listed above, performance is greater than predicted based on gain alone

in NLOS (Non-Line-Of-Sight) environments which is the world we live in.]
