The five powerful motors work in unison, each offering 32,768 controllable microsteps per revolution for ultra precise positioning. This takes the printing performance to the next level.

  • For a large-format machine, 600mm/s is pretty fast, but that's not the whole story. Turbocharged by the step-servo motors, it can accelerate at a staggering 30000mm/s². The print time has never been this short.
• Active Belt Tensioning
  • Timing belts may get loose over time, leading to poor print quality and accuracy. On the K2 Plus, the belt tension is checked and rigged actively by a pressure sensor instead of manually. Now, belt tensioning is a thing you can forget about.

Next-gen Extruder

• Automated Filament Cutter
  • The cutter has a durable tungsten steel blade and can be pulled back to position by a magnet, able to sustain constant filament switches.
• Run-out Sensor
  • Nearly zero distance from the nozzle. It tells you to replace the filament when only about one inch is left. There will be little waste.
• Strain Gauge for Leveling
  • Highly sensitive for probing the bed. It makes leveling compensation much more  precise than sensors embedded in the heatbed.
• Durable Direct Drive Extrusion
  • Hardened steel gears for better durabity. No issue coping with the repeated filament ingress and egress.
• 40mm³/s High-flow Hotend
  • Powered by an 100W heater, the flow rate of ABS at 280°C can reach 40mm³/s, 66% higher than the previous design.
