Good antenna, definitely more tough than those with the composite loads. I've had the load fail or break twice in five years on my NR-770. While I used to bust at least one of the composite loads on Comet and Diamond antennas a year. Great trade off if you need a tough antenna with reasonable gain that gets swatted by trees and bushes when you are out. I definitely recommend the NR-770. KD7TXO
