Too big for just the radio, too small for the radio with rails.

If I put the radio in the pack without rails, it flops around inside and is probably very likely to break a knob. If I put on my rails to protect the knobs, it doesn't fit.
It's so bad that I genuinely thought I probably had the wrong sleeve sent to me- but the label says FT-891. It's starting to make me rethink the whole MBP system.

Does not work with rails attached to 891

Great idea but needs to have more space for an 891 that has rails mounted. Disappointed that it is too tight.

Great piece of kit to protect my FT-891. I do have a set of rails on my 891 and the bag is a little tight but the more I use it, but hopefully it stretches a little with use.

Made this purchase to go with Explorer backpack for POTA. Material well made, but the product does lack the room for the FC-50 tuner.
Trying to do POTA with tuner attached to radio saves time in set ups. Covers the radio well, but with the FC-50 attached to the radio it is a No Go.

It's a nice bag. I wish there were room for the FC-50 or an option to buy a bag that fits the FT-891 radio with the FC-50 tuner.
