It’s nice to have a place
To store a lot of items in one convenient bag. I love how it opens up fully.

Perfect for POTA!
Review byCat
Purchased this bag for our Yaesu 710 (in an aluminum cage). Fits great, also have room for our LDG 200 tuner and a small bag with cables. The outside pockets are great for storage and has reduced the footprint of our POTA equipment greatly. The backpack opens up flat and all connections are easy to access when attaching the coax and power cords. Highly recommend and the price is fantastic for all the space and storage this backpack offers.

Sturdy Construction and Well Organized for Portable Operations
Review byTomG
The Explorer MBP-20 backpack is well made, has sturdy construction, and is very well organized. The FTX-1 Optima, 40/20/15/10M linked EFHW antenna, POTA 33H and all accessories, except for a large battery, fit quite well (carried the battery separately). This backpack also works well for the Xiegu G90 plus the XPA125B Amp, EFHW antenna, POTA 33H and all accessories, again except the large battery.

Great pack! So much storage!
Review byJeremy
This backpack is awesome! The build quality is top notch with quality zippers. Tons of storage inside & out with the hook & loop panel inside & the molle cutouts outside. I love the modular options. I can set it up for pota, sota or just a weekend camping. It’s so easy to swap out kits & radios for any need. It fits my radios, antennas, portable masts, cable & anything else I need for a trip. It’s also comfortable to take your gear hiking. You can’t go wrong with this pack.

Nice enough, needs hip straps.
Review byC.J.
I really love the idea of having an all-in-one bag to carry for portable operations. I carry my FT-857d, LDG Z-100, Laptop, Heil headset, and foot pedal. Along with all of this I have a Bioenno, a homemade EFHW, and all associated cabling. It sounds like a lot because it is however at the same time it's really not. It all fits in the pack really well and carries very nicely aside from the weight on the shoulders. I come from the backpacking world, and everyone knows the weight goes on your hips not your shoulders. I saw Jason from Hamradio2.0 do a review on his limited-edition pack and the prototype had hip straps. I wish mine did. There's no way I'm carrying this pack much further than a picnic table in a park. It's definitely not a SOTA rig. It's great for drive up POTA in stat parks, and for keeping my portable stuff all in the same place in the truck in case of an emergency where a gobox is needed.
