Very compact and convenient mast

This mast is the perfect size and weight for SOTA activations, before I was using either a 33' fiberglass telescoping mast which was very awkward carrying in my backpack or cheap telescoping fishing poles which kept breaking. This mast is a perfect combination of compactness vs total length and very quality made also.

I have a lightweight OCF Dipole antenna and wanted a reliable, lightweight collapsible mast I could put in my pack. When I saw that K8MRD talk about it I was intrigued and put down a deposit. Glad I did! EXCELLENT quality and handles the antenna easily. I may also get the longer version but for now, this one is perfect! Highly recommended!!!
