I was surprised with how sturdy this mast is. It does flex some, but I am in a windy environment, and I was expecting it to move a lot more than it does. Simple to deploy. Packs nicely into a small package for portability.

I have found the build on this mast to be very solid. Especially at the top end. That being said, it's still very flexible at the top three elements as they're the thinnest and will bend the most under any load, even a 22 awg EFHW. The bend is about equal in height to the top three element lengths. So what I've started doing is start deploying the mast at the 4th element and I get about the same height, but the mast is much stiffer and the antenna has less flex in it when deployed. Same height, less swaying. I'm happy with it. Nice product!

Great for portable operations

I purchased this when it was first released. I use it for portable operations with EFHW antennas etc. I designed and 3d printed a new bottom cap that replaces the one included with the mast to allow a removable spike to be screwed into the base. Additionally, I designed and 3d printed a new top cap that allows the user to continued to use the plastic/foam top while adding three connection points for small diameter guy lines. These two items create a very sturdy/stable option for putting this mast up in the middle of an open field where you have no trees etc. for support.

I brought this for my Pota-reel and it works great!!
Super easy set up, no twisting hard, and poof it goes up in ease and comes down. I was going to get the 20 but decided I was going to be wanting one taller at some point. I am super impressed with the size and weight of this mast. I can do sloppers which I usually do, or inverted V just fine! Love it with my Pota Reel!
