Excellent addition to QRZ-1 radio

The Explorer QRZ-1 Battery Eliminator is one of best additions to this radio you didn't know you needed. I used a pigtail with my mobile antenna and connected my battery eliminator to use for a power source and I was making contacts on repeaters over 50 miles away. The battery eliminator is an excellent alternative power source for mobile applications.

I don't spend much time in my car with my HT, but if you do, this is a great device to save on your battery charge. If you want to use it in your car connected to a mobile antenna, you might consider adding a speaker/mic to distance yourself from all the wires.
Regardless, a good device that works as advertised, coupled with speedy delivery.
