It is the only way to go. I tried a foot switch which was noisy and cumbersome and running VOX which was terrible for rag chewing. The HS-2 is quiet keying, and very pleasant to operate. Recommended.

Nicely made PTT that matches my headset

Well made, obvious quality. I could have made a simple switch by myself but it wouldn’t look nearly as good. Luckily the 6ft cord matches the headset cord so I can walk around while operating. Could have used something like a clip to hold it close when I’m not just sitting at the table. The cord seems like it’s pretty heavy duty, especially when compared to the headset cord. Still, I like it and it fits my need.
