One of the very best DMR mobile Radios

I bought the first MD782GU1 and loved the look and feel of the radio. The programming is easy once you understand it. The build quality is excellent. The only thing that might make it better might be a slightly bigger screen, like some of the high end Motorola mobiles have. I get great audio reports ,and the speaker sound is great. I built a bracket to mount it into my SUV, and then I wanted another for my home. So now I have two, and the second radio was bought along with the Samlex power supply and case to make it a base radio. It is a nice combination and looks good. I also own both the MD380, MD390 for what they can do with MD380Tools being loaded. I also have the PD782G, and PD362, both being great Hytera radios Bujying two MD782G radio is testiment to how much I like the radio. The CPS software is a free download, unlike some other radios. The CPS is really nice when you compare it to other CPS software for other radios. It has insert, and copy and paste features that some of the cheaper radios don't do. There is also a bulk channel create, where you can take one channel that is programmed, and create as many more as you like in one shot. be sure to request the Wide-band mod once you have the radio. The extra power is great when you get a little too far for the power of an HT.

The Hytera MD782G is a quality commercial grade mobile radio. I use it as a base radio in my shack. The Customer Programming Software (CPS) is available on the website. The radio interfaces to your computer via the programming cable (sold separately). Gigaparts offers a discount on the cable if you buy it when you purchase the radio. The radio will operate both DMR and Analog FM in the amateur UHF spectrum. The discounted price makes this radio a great value to the amateur community.
