My TS-480 SAT is mounted in the above tray. I upgraded my shack with an Ameritron ALS-1306 power amplifier. The harness must plug into the front DIN connector. I had to remove the radio and slid it back from the control head to make the connection. My radio is not attached now, just sitting in the bracket. I must not be the only one to have this plug interference problem and wonder if there is an improved version available.
