MFJ-1838, 1500W, 40-6M, Super Heavy Duty Cobweb Antenna

I purchased an MFJ-1838 antenna in 09/2019, finally got around to assembling later in the month, found that there were missing parts - no rope rings (736-1835-RR). I called MFJ on or about 09/30 and informed customer support, she said the parts were being mailed out to me right away. Over 2 weeks later, no parts. I later discovered that the 20M element that came with the antenna is too short. I submitted ticket no. YS3-2YP-37RR on 10/05, over a week later and still no response. What should have been a fun project has turned into a nightmare. I guess I will now have to go and buy some copper cable to make my 20M element and fabricate make-shift rope rings out of more materials that I'll have to go out and purchase on my own.

Also, I bought an MFJ-259C Pro thinking I was buying a quality analyzer. Most of the buttons and dials are crooked or otherwise not well aligned. Overall it doesn't appear to be well put together like we see in all the adds.

I no longer have any faith in the QC at MFJ nor with MFJ products in general. I will no longer purchase MFJ products and I fully intend to share this message of my personal experience with review sites and my fellow Hams.
