MFJ-1919EX Heavy Duty Antenna Tripods include a built-in steel mast and a collapsible 15 ft. fiberglass mast. Their steel mast is 1.6 in. in diameter and extends to a height of about 4.8 ft. Their steel mast easily accepts most U-bolt antenna applications. These tripods can support up to 100 lbs. by themselves! The tripod and built-in mast collapse to 54 in. long by 6 in. in diameter and weigh 9.75 lbs.

These MFJ-1919EX tripods come with a companion telescoping fiberglass mast employing MFJ's screw-adjustable QuickClamps. Once adjusted, they firmly clamp and release their associated mast section with repeatable ease. These fiberglass masts have a 1.5 in. outside diameter at the bottom and extend up to 15 ft. Add that to the height of the tripod and you have a tripod/mast combination up to just over 19 ft. high! The top section of the fiberglass mast is 0.75 in. outside diameter. The weight of the included, accessory mast is 15 lbs. and it collapses to a 60 in. length. Completely assembled and fully extended these units will support 15 lbs. at the very top.
