I recently purchased this unit and it arrived with damage to the rear of the case. I did not receive satisfactory follow up from either GigParts or MFJ regarding the issue. Although the unit performs adequately for my requirements, I can only provide a two-star rating due to my purchase experience.

Excellent small size power supply

Unlike the noise from the people complaining about the fans I don't have a problem. This power supply is very good and operates my entire group of radios including my HF, (2) Dual Bands, Marine Band, and a couple of other radios. It handles the load without a problem and the front end of the power supply makes it easy to make connections and to monitor what the supply is doing

I really like this power power supply. I power my Radio equipment from it. I’ve had no issues whatsoever from the unit. I don’t like the fact that the Meters are not lighted. If they were lit the unit would be more functional, however from the general appearance it would look better and additionally useful. I have fan noise, however it is not appreciable. I run my Yeasu FT DX 1200 HF 100 Watt Radio and my Kenwood 2 Meter 281 on it sometimes simultaneously on it, without any issues. Overall very pleased with this power supply. I see lots of fan noise complaints. Purchased mine in 2018. WPK

As a workbench power supply, this unit is probably great. To power your communication gear, this power supply is totally unacceptable due to its fan noise. It is LOUD! I am sorry I purchased this unit.

I must wear a headset noise cancellation if I want to hear the communication. This fan does not want to stop when I release the PTT. Is there any way to make it more quiet?

Great power, bad fan noise

Just got it today. I like the front facing multiple outputs and the meters are great. It has more than enough amps to handle my setup. Biggest complain... fan noise... boy that thing is loud. I can hear the fan from across the room and I'm like 30 feet away. It would also be nice if the meters were lit. The only thing that lights up is the power button, which is nice if you want your room dark at night. 3.5 stars because of that fan noise. I'd return it if not for the 15% restocking fee. Thinking, maybe I should just gotten a switching power supply instead.

Like the little notch at 13.8 volts in the dial, keeps the pot. there. Having multiple outputs is also nice.
