I purchased my 1st one on may 9th 2018. It lasted 1 1/5 weeks. Powered it on 1 day, then powered up my yaesu ftdx1200 and heard a loud "POP" come from the MFJ, Fan went wide open and the voltage meter needle slammed to the right. I hurry powered of the 1200. I could smell an electrical burning smell. I disconnected the 1200 from the MFJ-4245MV, and tested the voltage output. 29.6 volts. WOW. I was lucky that it didnt fry my 1200. I contacted Michael from GiGaParts support and he had another 1 dropped shipped direct from MFJ. That one last about the same amount of time. Same issue. Powered MFJ on, then powered up my yaesu ftdx1200 and heard a loud "POP" come from the MFJ, 29.6 Volts. I contacted GiGaParts again. They had me ship it back to MFJ. It arrived back at MFJ on June 25th. I did some reading on line and read that several others had had the same issue. Some not as lucky as I. They lost their radios. I am still waiting on my refund and will not accept another MFJ-4245MV. Please read up on this unit before purchasing. This is no way to say anything Bad about Gigaparts. I've always had excellent service from them.

Drives my Yaesu 991A fine. The lit meters are nice. The detent for 13.8v is convenient as well. I don't have any accessories so I can't comment on using the other connections. However, one thing to note is that the fan light and fan itself is always on as soon as I power it up. I was under the impression it would only turn on under heavy load, but it is always on even if you are just receiving. It's just sitting on the table with plenty of air circulation and it's not obnoxious, but you can hear it.
