The Driver Extreme 38 Special isn't like most fiberglass CB whips. Yes, it is smooth and sleek like some other designs, but that's where the similarity ends. Unlike most fiberglass CB antennas, the 38 Special's radiating element is internally wound with TWO wire conductors in parallel. Dual conductors translate to twice the metal and twice the surface area. More surface area means more metal to grab an incoming signal and send a signal out.
