Icom IC-9700 is built with the VHF/UHF weak signal operator in mind, the IC-9700 boasts RF direct sampling receivers for 2m and 70cm, along with a single down conversion for 23cm. It features Icom's DSP technology for a quiet receiver and a robust PA delivering 100W on 2m, 75W on 70cm, and 10W on 23cm. Band Management includes specific memory channels and tailored settings for each band, both in transmission and reception. Users can adjust RF power, TX power limit, limit power, and TX delay by band during transmit. Receiver settings, such as Noise Blanker and Noise Reduction, are customizable by band, offering a dynamic and tailored experience for each operating band and mode.
