I have two Kenwood SP-23 speakers in my shack and like both their size and look. The sound quality, however, leaves a little to be desired. There are commercial modification kits available but a zero cost alternative is simply to fill the speaker case with plastic shipping pellets. This makes a significant improvement to the SP-23's sound reproduction and also makes the SP-23 a very good buy.
