Phase Dock Slide for Circuit Playground with 2×2 Click - 10142

Slide adapters are an elegant and convenient way to mount a Adafruit Circuit Playground, Playground Express, or any other board with the same mounting hole configuration. The Circuit Playground family of boards lack designated mounting holes.  Instead, they feature alligator-clip-friendly contact pads around the perimeter. We devised a WorkBench-compatible Slide by using the holes in the three ground (GND) contact pads. By putting long screws through those three holes and tightening down onto the contact pads with hex nuts, you can clip onto the screws for a secure electrical connection.

Once mounted on a Click/Slide combo, your Playground board can be snapped onto your Phase Dock WorkBench™ within seconds. Organize and rearrange your project or prototype easily.

Or, deploy the Slide without the Click as a more permanent mounting platform. The raised bosses protect the vulnerable components on the underside of the Playground board against scraping or damage. Plus, you get the convenience of easy on and off.
