Excellent, but. . .

This power supply is quiet and efficient as advertised. It has high power capabilities and more than meets my needs for a DC station power supply. I only have one issue: the power supply cannot be turned on or off remotely. I need to have the ability to power up a remote location with DC by controlling the AC input to the supply.
this supply cannot be powered up without manual intervention at the front panel. This is a limitation for my needs because I have to leave it powered on continuously. Also, when the power is lost, it will not come back on automatically.

So far, so good! I use this power supply in my home ham shack to power my Flex-8400M and Icom IC-705 tranceivers and, so far, it has been flawless. My old Astron linear supply has seen it's better days and, after a previous bad experience with a RF noisy switching power supply, I was gun shy about trying another one...but glad I gave this one a try. So far, I've found no RF or fan noise, I can see at a glance the voltage & current, and it takes up much less space on my radio desk.

Got this power supply just before Field Day 2025. My first power supply was a switching power supply that initially wasn't RFI noisy, but as time went on, it got worse. The Rig Expert Shackmaster Power 600 has been able to power everything I needed in the shack 40amps is amole. I'd read reviews that this power supply had a noisy fan, that WASN'T my experience. In fact, its so quiet, I'd be led to believe it doesn't have a fan! I've used this on my Yeasu FT-710, Xiegu G90, Xiegu 6100, with NO discernable RFI noise. After the noisy power supply, I ran my shack on LiFePO4 Lithium Batteries. The change was significantly quieter. I then installed the Shackmaster 600, the noise floor remained the same. Three different radios - same result. Quality engineering, superior performance. Cost-effective solution.

Very happy with this power supply! It's been able to power my entire shack and then some! Really enjoy the remote capabilities of it and fancy power charts and graphs you can make when connected to a computer!
