Messi and Paoloni UltraFlex 7, PL-259, 35ft Coax Cable

This 7mm Messi & Paoloni coax cable is decent stuff, in and of itself. The loss characteristics, power handling ability, and flexibility are all good, for its size.

However, having ordered several of these jumpers (75', 50' and 35') recently, everyone of them has had excessive solder on the pins of the PL-259's. This makes the pin a bit "fat", and there is much difficulty getting it to go into the SO-239 socket. I've had to file/scrape the excess solder from the pins to make these assemblies work. Not something that should have to be done on a "factory" assembly!

Another consideration: Because of its 7mm (.287") outside diameter, you cannot use "standard" PL-259 connectors (with reducers) with this cable. Apparently, only M&P [7mm] connectors will work, and they are both hard to find, and expensive.
I am considering modifying n PL-259 reducer/adapter for RG8x coax (.242" OD), by boring the inside of it to .287", and see if that will work, thus allowing "regular" PL259's to be used. We'll see...
