I looked at tons of battery options for FT-60R. I also checked with other hams and it was evident that going OEM was the best route. There were knockoffs, but plenty of complaints that they don’t last. I saw some batteries that looked tempting and were lithium ion, but these batteries are not compatible with the OEM battery charger. Therefore you have to pay for another one of those too. Again, going with the original battery just made sense.
