Works with the FTM-510DRASP
I happen to use the 510 in my kitchen on our breakfast table for 2m/70cm - and this is perfect for me to mount the head onto and have one wire from the radio. It balanced the head unit well and works.....just an fyi - The 500 and 510 need this particular bracket---it is longer and provides more stability. The brackets for the 300 will not work for the 500 units...I tried. :)

This mount mounts to the radio and in my Dodge Challenger will slip right between the display panel and control button panel, almost looking factory. Great usefulness.

I needed a simple desk mount for my FTM-510, which I'm using as a base radio. I originally thought this was the same mount as the one for the FTM-300, but I was mistaken. While the product photos might not show it, the base is actually longer than the FTM-300 version, which helps balance the head unit much better.
I'm not even using the included double-sided tape or hardware; it sits securely on my desk as is. If I were to plug the microphone directly into the faceplate, the mount might shift, so using the tape or screws would be a good idea. However, since the main radio body is right next to me, I just plug the microphone in there. It's also worth noting that the mount came with the necessary screw hardware, which wasn't mentioned in the product description. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase.
