Worth the money

Very happy with this programming. I purchased the downloadable software for the Mac/ios system. They send you an email with the serial number. Download was fast and easy, it included the necessary diver for the cable. The cable came in the mail a day later. Since you "own" the serial number, you can download to multiple computers, which is nice for field operations from a laptop. With this particular radio, you get both the FT-4X, and the single band, FT-4V, just pay attention to which program you open. Very easy to access all of the menus and abilities. Helps make the manual make sense, at least for me. They also include a searchable repeater database, which, although somewhat dated, is handy for travel or field operations. I have Rts software for all of my radios, it is solid with good customer service.
