I have to start this review with the fact that I am a firm believer that the antennas that come with your HT is the best antenna you can get for your HT. This antenna has really made me second guess this philosophy. I got this for my Kenwood TH-D75A to see if it would help with the APRS. I had been driving around a lot with the factory antenna and never got my APRS packets repeated. After switching to this antenna the APRS works perfectly, its very close to the same size as the factory antenna as well which makes it nice that its not super long and hard to use while driving. The antenna is not flailing all over the cab of the truck, and hitting the roof when I pull it to my face to talk.
